the designer Jon Bausor, worked with the actors when creating their costumes, they went to him with ideas of the costumes they thought their characters would wear. Irina begins with the white dress at the begining as it is mentioned in the script, the doc marten boots also suggest she is still youthfull, why do you feel they transitioned through the play, think about how Irina became affected by the work around her? worklife ? etc
